As a dedicated ringette coach and future educator, I am passionate about developing young athletes both physically and mentally. With years of experience competing at the highest levels of ringette, including the National Ringette League, I understand the demands of the game and the importance of goalie-specific training and mental preparation.
My background in psychology and education allows me to integrate mental performance strategies into technical training, ensuring goalies and players build confidence, resilience, and game intelligence. Since 2018, I have been committed to helping athletes develop strong habits, sharpen their skills, and perform at their best under pressure.
Coaching Philosophy
Every goalie is unique, with their own playing style, strengths, and areas for growth. A one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work for goaltending—what works for one may not work for another. That’s why my coaching is adaptable and individualized, ensuring each goalie receives training tailored to their needs.
As the last line of defense and the rock their teammates rely on, a goalie must be strong, confident, and resilient. My goal is to develop goaltenders who own their net, are calm in a game, and thrive under pressure. By assessing technique, movement, and mindset, I help goalies build on strengths and refine weaknesses, creating a structured yet flexible training environment that allows each athlete to develop their personal style while reinforcing strong fundamentals.
Beyond technical skills, I emphasize mental strategies to help goalies stay focused, composed, and adaptable in high-pressure situations. As both a coach and educator, I strive to I strive to inspire goalies to stay engaged, push their limits, and strive for continuous improvement—helping them develop both their skills and their passion for the game.
Services
At 200 Ringette, we recognize that goaltending is one of the most unique and demanding positions on the ice. As the last line of defense and the backbone of the team, a goalies performance can dictate the outcome of a game. That’s why our goalie development program is designed to provide position-specific training that enhances both technical skill and mental performance while respecting each goaltender’s individual playing style. Our approach is structured yet adaptable, ensuring that each goalie receives personalized coaching that builds on their strengths and refines their weaknesses. Through a combination of on-ice technical training, game-scenario drills, and mental performance strategies, we help goaltenders develop confidence, consistency, and control in the crease.
