Service Description
U10 Framework Enhance Technical Skating & Ringette Foundations Goal | Improve fundamental skating techniques while introducing basic ringette skills. Objective | Develop stride efficiency, proper body positioning, balance, and basic edge control while introducing ring control, passing fundamentals, and basic shooting mechanics. Needs | Fundamental skill development with an emphasis on fun, confidence, and engagement. On-Ice Session Layout (60 Minutes) Warm-Up / Warm-Up Game (Approx 5 min) Fun skating-based games that promote balance, knee bend, and movement. Skating Techniques (Approx. 20 min) Focus on foundational skating mechanics including athletic stance, forward stride, basic edgework, and controlled stops. Ringette Fundamentals (Approx. 20 min) Introduce ring control, stationary and moving passes, receiving techniques, and basic shooting. Gameplay / Fun / Competition (Approx. 15 min) Small-area games and relays that reinforce skills in an engaging environment.
